  A fine quality mid-19th century English dumb waiter of elegant proportions, crafted from dense, beautifully figured mahogany of particularly rich tone and depth. This exceptional piece stands on bold gadrooned feet terminating in original porcelain castors, a practical yet refined detail typical of well-made period examples. The solid shelves are generously proportioned with softly rounded corners and a superbly figured surface, displaying the depth and warmth that only well-selected antique mahogany can offer. The upper section is especially striking. The top rail is decorated with flowing, stylised carving reminiscent of early Arts & Crafts taste, incorporating scrollwork and a central rosette motif. The shaped supports beneath each tier feature finely carved scrolling brackets, adding strength as well as architectural elegance. A grand and highly decorative example in solid oak, retaining all its original fittings. The design features a central bevelled mirror framed by carved scrollwork and mouldings, surrounded by an abundance of turned hat and coat hooks arranged across the upper and side sections.
Below are twin stick or umbrella receptacles with their original removable drip trays, supported by turned columns and shaped lower rails. The hallstand displays good carving, crisp detailing, and a warm, even colour throughout.

A fine George III Chippendale period hanging wall shelf in mahogany, dating to around 1770. The piece features an open fretwork design to the sides with classic Gothic lattice panels and a shaped apron below the top shelf. The lower section is fitted with a row of five small drawers, each with original brass axe handles and outlined in a finely carved rope moulding, typical of mid-18th-century craftsmanship. Outer edges have a foliate carved border. The best Cuban mahogany has developed a rich, warm patina, enhancing its elegant proportions and timeless appeal.
